Renteria or Carlos Guillen

Which SS would you rather have this year in a 5x5 Roto?
I have Renteria at 67 overall and Guillen all the way down at 119 overall. (I have no SS ranked between them) Is this difference in rating justified? Who do you like better for this year.

Here is what I project

Renteria
97R 13HR 88RBI 17SB .307

Guillen
90R 17HR 83RBI 8SB .296

I like Renteria better than Guillen.

The difference is justified. Renteria had an off year last year but will thrive in Boston (this coming from a yankees fan too)

in 5x5, i have a simlar dropoff. I actually have Chone Figgins just about Guillen, but both are way below Renteria, the next best SS.

I would definitely be targeting a SS above that cut.

All you doubters will see! Guillen is the much better pick. Not only will he have better Rs, HRs, RBIs, and BA (just like last yr with 60+ fewer ABs I will add), you can get him 3-4 rds after Renteria.

if i had my choice of the 2 i would take renteria,,,,,but if my choice was renteria in the 6th or guillen in the 10th,,i will take guillen every time..... there is still some quality arms or big bats i can get in the 6th and then get similar numbers to renteria in the 10th with guillen

guillen without a doubt.. renteria is overrated... he had 1 good season.. and followed it up with a less then stellar last year... he cant hit hr.. and if u cant do that or steal or hit over .300 then ur not a good fantasy option.. guillen all the way

If Guillen wouldn't have hurt his knee last year, he was on pace for 110/24/110/15/.318. This would have beaten every other SS except for Tejada. Moving to Detroit was the best thing that could have happened to his career. The only question mark with him is his knee, which as time goes by, seems less and less like an issue.
