Impressed or Disappointed with Fielder's first season?

Postby Zito is God » Thu Jun 29, 2006 3:20 pm

Many projected Fielder to hit somewhere around 35 HRs. I had him around 22 this year and see my prediction coming true. However, overall are you disappointed with this season or impressed and see a great career down the road?
Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

How could a person not be impressed by a kid who is on track to go .300/30+ in his first season? I own him, and this is way exceeding my expectations.

He is basically on pace to have 80 R - 33 HR - 90 RBI and hit .290, heck even throw in he is on pace for 10 SB. I'm not sure how anyone can be disappointed in the kid who just turned 22 a month or so ago.

I'm curious how you see your prediction of 22 HR's coming true when he only has to hit 6 more in 3 months. :-?

you expect him to only hit 22 homers this year? he has 16 already and were not even halfway through the season, i think hell be much closer to 35 than 22. And im very happy with him hes on pace to get about 35/10 while batting in the high 200's

He has the best average on the Brewers with 16 homers. That's great.

I'll echo everyone else, and ask, how could you possibly be disappointed?[/i]

I'm disappointed. I was expecting him to walk on water, possibly raise the dead.
