Better year: Kaz Matsui or Angel Berroa

I'd definitely go with Kaz. Berroa's discipline at the plate is getting worse, not better, and I always had the feeling his rookie year was a fluke.

In a full year, Kaz will easily outearn Angel.

Kaz isn't getting much respect in CBS leagues. I've landed him in rounds 16 and 19.

That's not what I'm worried about, it's if he can play a full year that I'm worried about. His spring injuries in combination with last years' really worry me.

I'd go with the later value pick of Berroa and not pay the price for Kaz, as I'm sure a dedicated Mets fan will snatch him up early.

There doesn't seem to be a lot to this injury. It's just soreness and he's been OKed by the doctors. I think Willie is just being extra precautious so close to opening day.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
