I'll give you a constructive response.

They probably will not dip because the Sox acquired him to inject some speed into their lineup. Guillen has stated that they plan on running a little more so I think you can expect Pod's to repeat his steal totals at least. He needs to up that OBP though to get more chances to steal.

Ozzie influenced K. Williams to trade Lee for some speed. In 5 years we didn't win with Lee and Maggs so Kenny decided to make a move. I think he will steal at least 50 bags this year.

ok cook, thanks guys

I had no idea what the White Sox 'running tendencies' were.

I also wasn't sure if Scotty Pod. was just a product of being on a bad team that would just send him for a stolen base attempt whenever.

Changing of teams does matter. Remember Edgar Rentieria? You used to be able to count on him for some stolen bases, but no longer now that he is in Boston. I suspect Edgar will eventually be in the #2 spot of the batting order. With manny and ortiz behind him I just don't see Francona risking an out all that often. He has too much faith in manny and ortiz to drive him in without the use of a steal.
