Exactly who will get starting jobs in that outfield? ESPN has Dellucci, Hidalgo, Mathews Jr., Mench, Nivar, and Nix in that outfield and I can't tell them apart. Anyone who follow the Rangers closely know who will start most of the time? Who's playing time will get cut in the most by platoons?

Sooper...God I hope you right. Mench is my worst hitter but I am expecting big things from him. Who is going to DH do you think?

If the season started now, a platoon of David Dellucci and Greg Colbrunn would be used.

It will be interesting to see if the Rangers tear up their original plans and keep one of the two youngsters. Gonzalez is the more likely of the two to stick around, although it's still a longshot. He'd replace David Dellucci as the DH against right-handers.

It's all up in the air right now .... :-°

Delllucci is the DH right now, not sure what they will do with Adrian. As for Matthews...there are no rumors that he will take Nix's spot...Nix is there to stay.

yes, there are :

The Dallas Morning News reports that Rangers manager Buck Showalter told Laynce Nix that his starting spot in center was not guaranteed, especially since Gary Matthews Jr. has been playing so well. "We have some good options out there," said Showalter.

smells of a platoon, especially early in the year
