Tied in Wins do i start Halladay?

Postby SoCalRebel » Sun May 11, 2003 3:08 pm

Ok I currently lead in whip 1.10 to 1.23

I lead in era 2.54 to 3.62

Ive got 39 IP hes got 37 IP

I had schmidt start today but it doesnt look like hes gonna pick up the win since hes losing and now its raining. So my last hope is Halladay.

If I start him I can possibly get the win but risk my whip and era.

Its a 5x5 and its nine nothing now, I would really like to get the 10 sweep but I would hate to see it blow up in my face.

I didn't know what to do, but I started him. If the stupid manager hadn't moved him up in the rotation, my decision would have been easier. He was scheduled to pitch against TB.

2 best or 2 luckiest :-? Anyway I hope this turns it around for Halladay. On my way home I was listening to the post game rap up and they were saying he threw 78 strikes out of 99 pitches, or close to that. Thats a good sign. ;-D
