Pitched with a stiff wind blowing dead away. Six strong innings, 79 pitches, 59 for strikes. Four seamer was mostly 95, touched 97. Two seamer was 91-93. Had a bunch of K's, and threw 59 strikes in those 79 pitches. Only mistake was a two seamer that sat in the middle of the zone and was crushed by Andy Tracy over the 433 sign in dead center, and which was a HR even with no wind.
Talked with him after the game, and he felt good about his performance. Obviously won't know how he feels physically till tomorrow (later today, actually).
He'll most likely be recalled and in the rotation next week, and barring any unforeseen setbacks, he's ready to be plugged right in if you own him.
