how long should i wait on him to come around? does he need the warm summer air to play well in Colorado or what? i picked him up because i also have Todd Helton and i figured they would be a sound 1-2 punch in the high mountair air. all he has done is hit below the Mendoza line. how long should i let his leash be before he's gone?

In 2003, Preston has a great April, batting .320, hitting 5 homers, and driving in 24. So this slow start is worrying.

Right now, he's nothing more than a platoon player you only use when he's at Coors.

With as late as I drafted him, I have no issues just platooning him when he's at home. Sure would be nice if he would heat up, but it's still early in the season. B-)

I have him in a deep 14 team league. He is starting to frustrate me, and I am now only going to start him at home. That said, my other option is Raul Mondesi, so I'm not exactly in the best position. :-[

You have to love deep leagues. :-b

0-4 today, this guy is dissapointing so far, but it's still early.

Just wait until he has a decent road game the day before coming home for a long home stretch. He'll be a streaky player but will certainly be worth shifting into the starting lineup during a 6 home game week. You probably didn't draft him too early. I'd stand pat.
