Without the mouth--I'm not sure what to think, but, speed is not
an accident, nor, is power. I,for one, am not selling high!

In his minor league career Brian managed to hit more than 1, yes 1, Home Run once. He hit a total of 6 HR in 1092 at-bats.

In his major leag career he's hit a total of 17 home runs in 1555 at-bats.

The guy is 5-9, 176lbs.

If he hits 20-30 I'll be very very surprised.

He still has emmense value. A leadoff hitter with some pop a top of a sweet BAL lineup.

You are a believer. I am not. This may not be an accident - its called juice or a cork.

brian roberts doubters should shut their mouths and at least wait til he goes 1 game without a hit, much less when hes cranking out hrs in the third week.

Hes not an old player, hes not dinking hrs over the wall hes moonshooting, he hit 50 doubles last year (led switch hitters) has a tremendous work ethic, and is 27 years old in his third year.

be jealous, dont be ridiculous.

I think the Rickey Henderson comparisons are a lot more ridiculous than the Roberts doubting.

Roberts was a streaky player last year. Now he's a streaky player with power. Great fantasy 2B? Yes. Rickey Henderson? No.

And for the record, I have him.

Gimme a break. If Roberts is taken in the same round as Arod or Vlad next year. I'll never play fantasy Baseball again.
