In his minor league career Brian managed to hit more than 1, yes 1, Home Run once. He hit a total of 6 HR in 1092 at-bats.

In his major leag career he's hit a total of 17 home runs in 1555 at-bats.

The guy is 5-9, 176lbs.

If he hits 20-30 I'll be very very surprised.

He still has emmense value. A leadoff hitter with some pop a top of a sweet BAL lineup.

brian roberts doubters should shut their mouths and at least wait til he goes 1 game without a hit, much less when hes cranking out hrs in the third week.

Hes not an old player, hes not dinking hrs over the wall hes moonshooting, he hit 50 doubles last year (led switch hitters) has a tremendous work ethic, and is 27 years old in his third year.


be jealous, dont be ridiculous.

I think the Rickey Henderson comparisons are a lot more ridiculous than the Roberts doubting.

Roberts was a streaky player last year. Now he's a streaky player with power. Great fantasy 2B? Yes. Rickey Henderson? No.

And for the record, I have him.

yea i dont get the ricky henderson comparison, roberts wont get 100 bags.... compare him to arod or vlad maybe, soriano maybe.

i bet his hr today surprised a lot of teh doubters.

Gimme a break. If Roberts is taken in the same round as Arod or Vlad next year. I'll never play fantasy Baseball again.
