Vernon Wells starting to come alive?

Postby wannabthechamp » Tue Apr 19, 2005 10:41 pm

Yesterday he was 3 for 5 with an RBI, today he cracked a 2 run home run. Seemed like a lot of people were starting to panic, and I was lucky that a guy in my league foolishly dropped Vernon and I was able to get him off waivers. ;-D

Have to admit that I benched him for the first time yesterday (I was worried about those ribs), but after the 3/5, I put him back in today. :-) Hopefully this is the start of everything for him. ;-D

I hope he is. He's been in a coma for a while...
Yes, I was, uh... I was thinking about ordering the tape, the videotape... about the college girls and the... the wild... the wildness. They're going wild or something? Somebody told me... about going wild.

Anybody know if his move to the 5th spot in the lineup is permanent? I'm hoping it's temporary and they're just riding out Hillenbrand's hot streak.

I'm sure it's temporary. No way Wells hits in the 5-hole all year in that lineup.
