How many runs does this guy have to give up in the 9th to lose his job? I understand that he is converting his save opportunities but CLEARLY, Hermanson is the better pitcher for the job no?

Ive been in denial, but Shingo just has not looked sharp. Batters are laying off more of his pitches, he just isnt throwing anyone off like he did last year. Ozzie Guillen wants to win, I dont think he really cares who the closer is as long as he gets the job done. Right now Ozzie does not have confidence in Shingo, so a change might be in order soon.

Just heard in the Sox postgame press conference that Ozzie is planning on going with a closer by situation. He said he doesnt want to ruin anyones confidence, but Shingo is not pitching well right now. So he is going to switch to closer by situation.

I'm done playing with Takatsu. He will be cut from any of my teams that I have him before the night is over. :-[

LOL... read between the lines... it will be Hermanson or Marte since Takatsu obviously can't get the job done anymore. Why would he turn to Takatsu after taking his job away when you have far better pitchers who can easily get the job done?

Looks like I might be down to 1 closer. I was hoping Takatsu and Adams would get me a couple of saves. Now everything rests on hoffmans shoulders. I figured it would be a matter of time before hitters figured out Takatsu's delivery, a little sooner then I expected though. I thought maybe I would be able to trade him after the all star break...not now :,-(

Don't bolt on Adams yet, the Brewers have no-one better.
