From what I've heard the past couple of days, Nook will be playing CF quite regularly for the Tigers. Great speed. ;-D

You read wrong. Tram said he wants somebody to take the shot and run with it. He is going to go with the hot player. Don't be surprised if Thames gets the next couple of starts in center with Monroe moving to right. It isn't Logans job yet!

Exavier Logan is in CF until Magglio gets back -- at which time they revert to the White/Monroe/Ordonez setup (left to right).

Logan ranks close to Joey Gathright in terms of sheer speed. He is, however, going to be the odd man out when Ordonez gets back. At that point he'll start occasionally, pinch run and likely to be defensive replacement for White.

Fun player to watch, but probably not a lot of Fantasy value this year unless he is able to unseat Monroe, which is possible but at this point unlikely.

From what I read, Monroe and White will be the two constants, and Logan and Higginson will be splitting time based on matchups. Monore will play center when Higginson is in the lineup and right when Logan is. They'd like to deal Higginson, but no real takers.

Interesting. Like to see the source on that -- Trammell and the media here in Detroit have been fairly clear about the situation. But it may have changed since last night.

You will, however, see White moved out in late innings for a defensive replacement.

What bis clear is that there is no plan to use Higginson on a regular basis. He is truly the odd man out. And as you note they'd love to move him.

what are the respective fantasy values here? I've got Mags sitting on my DL, and have been juggling trying to find a solid, everday OF. So how would you rank White, Monroe, Logan, and Higginson from now until the return of Mags?

In exactly the order you listed them ....

White, Monroe, Logan, Higginson.

unless you need steals, then you can swap Monroe and Logan.

Lot of comments about White's commitment and solid play to date ... expect .290/20/90. But he may lose an occasional AB when he is pulled for defense in the late innings.
