He has 6 steals already and is 2nd to Ichiro. Seems to me like they are just letting him have the green light when he gets on base. Is great to see. Anyone see this continuing?

I doubt he gets more than 20-25...

He is stealing a good amount because he has fresh legs, in Aug he wont be stealing much
Fantasy sports are ruled by the 50-50-90 rule...

Anytime you have a 50/50 choice between two players, 90% of the time, you'll get it wrong

Someone in one of my Yahoo leagues (of course) dropped him when he went into his mini-slump, so I'm glad to own him on two teams tho I'm not counting on too much over 20-25 SBs but I'll take everything I can get.

If I can get 20-30 out of him and .270-.280, I'll be rather happy.

Looking at his career track record, he has more stolen bases in August than any other month. He was 15 of 17 in July and August last season. There seems to be a noticable drop in Septemeber and October, but not any sooner than that.

Could this have something to do with Morneau being out? Without his bat, that line-up is realtively punchless and it makes sense to try and produce runs on the basepaths.

I respectfully disagree. he had 8 steals in Huly last year and 8 in August. Then, got injured and couldn't run in September. I think he's gonna steal 40 this year.

I'm no Twins expert, but Hunter sure seems like a guy with 40 SB upside. We've all seen what a great athlete he is and the amount of ground he can cover in CF. If he's figured out how to get a better jump, he may become one of those guys that can steal almost at will.
