Rumor: Baltimore after Helton???

Postby cannonarm21 » Wed Apr 20, 2005 12:54 pm

Just listening to the Jim Rome show, and he is saying the O's are making a run at trading for Helton.

Any locals hearing anything?

I'm not local but here's what I find so far (courtesy the Denver Post):link

Excerpt:
Before a Helton trade to the Orioles could become reality, however, two major obstacles must be overcome. One is a complete no-trade clause in Helton's enormous contract, meaning Helton would sign off on the deal; the other is whether the Rockies would consider parting with their franchise player.

(Edit: x-post with Blankman. Ugh, and I missed the other thread.)

I scanned the first page and didn't see anything. I do not have a ton of time to scroll through to see if somebody posted it awhile back. I scan the first page when I think something is new. I swear some of you spend more time trying to search people out for duplicating a topic so you can bust their balls. I appreciate the above post giving me a link where to read more about this, thank you.

I thought this was new, excuse me. Do you really think I would have started a new thread if I knew this? I would understand if this was somethiong I was guilty of on a regualr basis.

relax bro; i personally have no prob with more than one post, if the mods care they can just add the messages in this one to the previous one (unless the forum version is too inferior to allow that)...all new info is welcome and no-one should be expected to have to search through the forum for previous posts on the same topic
