With another couple hits today he has like a 12 or 13 game hit streak going. I've heard he was supposed to be a real solid prospect but he hasn't done anything too special in his first few seasons. Is this the year he breaks out??? Or is this just a nice stretch that won't last?

A few of us talked about him as a possible breakout cadidates before the season and pretty much got laughed off. The kid has plenty of pop. He should be a 30 homerun guy. It's all a matter of whether he can get a decent enough batting average to be worth using. So far so good after a slow start! I don't think he'll be a .300 hitter, but I could see .275, .280 with 30 homers, 85 rbi's. Not bad from a real late round or undrafted 3rd basemen. Others will probably strongly disagree with me though.

sox fan here, always was a top prospect , never put it together, got a vote of confidence from Ozzie Guillen earlier this season, saying he's my man, my third basemen & since then he has responded. I lost faith in him, but he could knock out 30 & who knows maybe he can put it all together.

in my cafe league, someone drafted him & compared him possibly to beltre last year , anythings possible, hes worth a pickup to see what happens, in case he explodes

THat was me He won't put up numbers like Beltre, but I think he will significantly improve his numbers this year across the board. He has some skill and there is a gun to his head which will be fired if he doesn't perform this year.

Crede is on the waiver wire in my league and as I have been riding Randa as a CI I am thinking of picking Crede up to replace him. I have been disappointed by Crede the last 2 years though so I am a little gun shy. Then again, Randa is no big loss, especially since he is hitless this week.

i picked him up in all my other leagues, i looked deeper at the Beltre comparisons & its is eerily simlilar, He wont hit for a .330 average at all but could be a solid producer
