Best Brantleyism To Date

Postby looptid » Thu Apr 21, 2005 7:10 pm

Seconds ago on SportsCenter:

"It's not so much that Nomar is hurt, but that he's out of the line-up now."

You just know that clown gets paid six figures to say things like that. Remember kids, Jeff played pro ball, he knows this stuff. Just like NASCAR drivers are the world's best mechanical engineers.

brantley offends my most basic sensibilities, and it's not just what he says; it's the way he says it...like the whole of america has been breathlessly awaiting him to announce ("here, lemme break it down for ya") that some pitcher generally gets more hittable the third time through the order, or that the catcher's just going out to calm down his pitcher. thanks for kicking the mad k-nowledge.

PUKE, jeff. get kidnapped and come up with some new shxt.

b
yeah, yes...

haha yeah i heard that too, sounded stupid at first but what he was trying to portray was the impact it would have *in the clubhouse* and so on (even though nomah is apparently not an exemplary teammate from previous reports....)

I just want to see McCarver, Brantley, Kruk and Morgan beat on each other.

I used to love Michael Kay on the radio. But since he's been on YES, he sucks. He seems full of himself and just ends up wearing on your nerves.

I tolerate Brantley only because he is a former MSU Bulldog.
