Pity this guy can not start over such notables as Stewart and Ford.

Same with me. I just released LeCroy for the best catcher on my waiver wire, which sadly enough was Inge.

depending on the size of your league, i wouldn't say that's sad at all - batting over .300 with double digit runs and rbis, with a few dingers and a steal to boot - and now's he's leading off... B-)

i'd be shocked if inge doesn't finish as a top ten catcher...of course top ten at the weakest position in the majors might not be very good

I'd love to pick up Inge as a catcher.

Next year when he is not C eligible he'll be WW material, but I'll take .280-.300/15-20/70-80 from a lead-off hitting catcher anyday of the week.

He's also going to steal 5-10 bases and he's on pace for 142 runs. OK, I'll take half that! Still not bad.

See you later LeCroy. Where do I sign up?

On a side note (and I am a Tiger fan here) a few years ago I was the biggest Inge critic/cynic. And I'm anxious to see if he can repeat his 2004 season. But today you won't find an analyst or announcer in Detroit who does not consider Inge to be the best all-around athlete on the team. There are those who still say he is a better defensive catcher than Pudge.
