Top 15 Young Hitters

Postby dajet00 » Fri Apr 22, 2005 3:59 pm

Just like DCNats thread on young SP's, I would like to know the top 15 young hitters instead of SP's, hitters who have been in the league for 3 years or less or soon to be called up from the minors (hitters who have been injured can be included).

This is Pujols 5th year, so according to the original poster he wouldn't qualify for the list.

I'll ask the same question I did in the others, what is the critieria that we are going by for the ranking? Best right now... the future... what?

The answer to that question is the best hitters who are going to be great in the future. They can be good right now ie: M. Cabrera, so those kind of players would be high in the rankings.

I'm not sure what you mean by soon, but Young, Stewart, Marte, Fielder should all be up within a year and a half at most and Barton is probalby going to be a September call up in '06 I would imagine. I'm not really up on minor leaguers, but if you want to find out a ton, then check out this forum. Especially hybrid's stuff. ;-D
