I think I'd go with Lane. Should help at SB a little bit.

Lane, particularly if it's keeper.

Shouldn't this be in the other forum, though?

I prefer Lane and also think it's the correct forum as it's a player comparison question. As for the players, Lane will cool off but Encarnacion will as well, and when he goes south it's usually pretty ugly.

I agree. We've all seen how bad Encarnacion can be. At least Lane hasn't had the playing time to show us that he can suck it up with the best of them.

Lane is a far better option.

Hands down Lane. He's a more complete player and plays in a much friendly home park. Besides, you gotta love the 5 SB this early.

i think its the wrong forum, becuase he even said it was a pickup. even if he had left it out, the baseball leftovers isnt here for these specific types of comparisons.

say we have a thread about lane and whether or not he will continue success or whatever, and another thread about encarnacion with our thoughts on him, and its fine for me.

its hard for people NOT to post trade/waiver pickup questions in here, because every answers, and usually pretty quickly.
