i was wondering the same thing - he hit 14 hrs in 400 abs last year, but hasn't hit any yet this year and he plays in coors - im a little worried but im thinking be a bit more patient since even some notable power hitters (griffey/thome/etc) haven't really hit any out...but you'd think by now, he'd have knocked ONE out in the thin air...

25-30 is possible just because he plays in Coors. He's more of a gap power player. It doesn't appear that he's trying to slug 'em out thus far this season, but around 25 should end up coming over a full season.

expect 16-18 HRs..he only hit 21 dingers in 1000 ABs over 2 seasons in aa ball but the coors factor should help him (he had 14 in 400 ABs last year)

I grabbed Holliday earlier today to fill my Util slot, but just checked out Hawpe and man, those are some good-lookin' numbers (.366 avg., 3 hrs, 10 rbis and 7 rs in 41 ab). Is he going to start everyday? I think I might drop Holliday and grab Hawpe unless someone can convince me otherwise.

One of the best athletes to ever come out of this area. He could of played football as well.
I follow him pretty closely and know that he has he has hit some balls deep and hard. As soon as some of those start crawling over the fence, people that own him will rejoice. Just a matter of time.
He is my #5 OF, a bargain IMO.
25 HR should be reachable. Time to get started this week, "Matty". lol
