Is there any decent chance Borowski assumes role of closer?

I tend to agree with this side of it. I've never been a big Dempster fan, and I probably won't believe he's a seriously legit closer until he's had more time in the role. He may turn out to be born to close, but until then my money is still Borowski in the near future.

I dont think he moves back into the rotation. Rusch has pitched well since moving into the rotation, Jerome Williams figures to move into the rotation, Wood should be back sooner than later. And during his last couple of appearances he's looked pretty sharp.

But knowing Dusty Bakers ways, Paul Bako could be the next closer.

"Well we were warming up Wuertz in the bullpen and we noticed Paul got it back to the mound pretty quick. If he has some zip on it throwing it to the pitcher, imagine the zip it's gonna have goin down the plate!"
