I think they need to make the All-Star game back into an exhibition game. The team with the best overall record should have homefield. Not an every other year thing and CERTAINLY not the winner of the All-Star game.

Once that change is made, I have NO problem with All-Star voting being what it's always been - a chance to vote for the guy that YOU want to see start. Not the best player...not the hottest player...the player that you want to see on the field. The All-Star game is for the fans...let the fans see the players that they want to see (but PLEASE don't penalize the losing team's league by giving home field in the WS to the winner's league).
