Rotoworld:
Kevin Brown (back) threw off of flat ground yesterday (50 pitches at 90 feet) and it sounds like he may be ready to pitch again on July 5, as he reported no pain or problems.
That's much better news than we heard a few days ago and we aren't the only ones surprised by it. ''He had absolutely no problems today,'' said manager Joe Torre. ''That was a little bit of a surprise.'' If you don't have obvious alternatives, you can tentatively plan on starting Brown next week.

Or is it that Sean Henn's suckitude makes Brown or anyone else for that matter look good?

Kevin Brown's career is done IMO. He can't handle it anymore.
