Schmidt to White Sox?

Yahoo had a note next to his name saying Sox had interest. Doubt this particular deal will happen, but what other trade rumors are flying around this guy because if he goes AL on me I am without my #1 drafted pitcher.

there are a lot of rumors surrounding schmidt, but if the giants trade him they will want young guys, most likely young hitters, maybe a hitter and a pitcher. I hadnt heard chicago yet out here, but you never know

From ROTOWOLRD::

Several different Chicago-area newspapers are reporting that the White Sox may be interested in San Francisco starter Jason Schmidt.
According to the Chicago Tribune, the White Sox sent special assistant Dave Yoakum to watch Schmidt's start against Arizona Tuesday.

Now that would be a championship rotation

Schmidt
Beuhrle
Garland
Garcia
Contreras

with a solid leadoff man, power with Konerko and Thomas, and pretty good defense, deep bullpen with Politte and Hermanson.. that team's going far!
Yeah.. this "fantasy guru" thing is just a user name, folks.

El Duque could be key out of the bullpen also if he can stay healthy, he'd be dangerous as a middle reliever with that rotation.

I didn't mention El Duque because he's getting pretty fragile. But yeah, he's certainly useful.
