What happened to Ichiro, he hasn't even been attempting lately.

Ichiro hasn't been on base as much. Lol.

My team has decided to stop stealing. Anyway, I really like this Bay kid. I think he can be a lot like a right handed version of Brian Giles.

Good comparison but I think he's better than Brian Giles. And just for reference here are his numbers for the last month...

.320 Avg, 25R, 6HR, 23RBI, 8SB

Season?

.304 Avg, 84R, 22HR, 67RBI, 13SB

His only real slump was after the All Star Break when he hit .258 for July. Seems like a really nice guy too. I traded Podsednik for him straight up and I've actually extended my lead in steals since ;-D

Bay and Giles are like the same player... I have to wonder if Giles was traded out of SD, what his #'s would be like...

Both 300 AVG guys, that take BBs and score lots of Rs, but hardly have any RBIs b/c their team can't get on base in front of them. And they'll post like 15-20 SB a piece.

I'm really hoping Bay slows down a bit so I can get him cheap in next year's draft. He's going to be a great 5 tool player.

One difference is that this is Bay's 2nd year. Who knows how good he will eventually be?

We'll see if Bay's career OPS can stay w/ that of Giles. I mean the guy has a career OPS of .955. That's phenomenal! Bay should hope his career matches that of Giles.
