is mench ever going to remember how to hit?

he has been slumping for a while now but i keep wanting to put him in there for good matchups( like tomorrow vs leiter). does anyone think he is going to pick it up or possibly be benched? ive got other marginal outfielders who are producing now but would really like mench to show the kind of stuff he had been showing earlier in the year. any texas homers have some input?

He's been buried on my bench for a while now. I was wondering if he was ever going to get his magic back... I've been considering just dropping him for Sizemore.

I'd do that unless there is somebody worse on your bench, because I still like Mench the rest of the way.

I am so pissed, I had Drew go down and he was holding the OF spot down for him and I was happy. Now he sucks and my team has blown a 17 game lead....I feel like the Angels.

Mench is an interesting fantasy guy. I feel strongly that at the end of the year he will have been a good #3 OF on season numbers, but on the border of average, which makes him hard to hold onto. I'm gonna play him out for the year, but that's just me. I think he's too good to stay down long.

yah. his avg is around .270 right now, which i would guess is his natural level. not sure exactly what you expect out of him: even in his last week, he's still 6-for-25 which is .240 and if another of the outs fell for a hit, would be .280. his power #s are down from what you should expect: 1 hr in the last week and only 4 stretching back to the beginning of july, but for the most part.... this is who kevin mench is. he ain't no albert pujuols.

I dropped him for Jenkins (riding his hot streak).

It seems that Jenkins' hot streak already ended though...

Well, I'm holding out for hope that it continues through next week when he visits Houston and Colorado... :-)
