I just dumped Randy for Weeks in a keeper league. It obviously wont help me this season, but hopefully Weeks works out in the future.

A few weeks ago I traded Turnbow to get Randy. His first start on my team was his best start of the year.... but we all know what he's done since then ... :,-(

The whole reason i brought this up was because my trade dealine is in three days, so it's now or never time.

Also, I think that being in first is also making people completely avoid trading with me, but that is another thread entirely. :-)

agreed... his hold value is def higher than his trade value at this point.

Right on. I'm a Randy owner and I've been shopping him around arriving at one conclusion: Since he is virtually untradeable, his hold value must be higher than his trade value.
The odds of the AL MVP coming from the American League are looking pretty good.

No I wouldn't, unless you SERIOUSLY need another decent bat to fill a hole. If you've got a decent option in RF, then I wouldn't do it.

I think Johnson's erratic performance this year is compounded by his bad back. He's already missed his last start and at his age, back problems could shelve him any time.

Last week someone in my league offered him to me along with Carpenter and Iguchi for Soriano, Matsui, and Matt Morris. I told him Johnson was the deal breaker and he wound up substituting Zito for him. My point here, is that I really think Johnson is untradeable (at least for par value) right now. :-[
