Alex Cintron???

He was Arizona's No.1 prospect last year, according to BA's 2002 Propect Handbook.

He has started to swing the bat and qualify's as a SS and 3B. He is 15 for 38(.394) so far this month!! He has raised his batting average from .269 to .321 overall. He has decent power(3 Hr's) 9 doubles and 1 triple.

I got my eye on him and may pick him up soon, if he continues to hit and get some consistency behind him.

Alex Cintron went 3-for-4 with a home run tonight versus the Astros. Now that he has a starting spot in the Diamondbacks' infield, he deserves a roster spot in your NL-only league. He's hitting .336 with four home runs.

I got this info from rotoworld.

It looks like Cintron is a starter from here on out!!

Cintron is certainly making a case to the D'backs to keep him up. I think he will stay up as long as he doesn't take a severe nosedive.

Sorry about that man. I just couldn't have imagined someone being as whimsical as myself and having to ask about him. I have him on my team now too, I was just hoping it wasn't a waste of a roster spot. Another question, would you play him ahead of Jeter for the time being?

That's alright CBM...I was just kidding anyway.

Good to see us thinking alike about the same player.

Let's see for the month of June.

Jeter is 11 of 61 (.180) he is in a slump. But keep an eye on him. He got a hit last night in last AB, a double that drove in 2 runs. So it may have given him some confidence.

Cintron is 18 for 42 (.428) and he is on fire now that he has won a starting spot. He is showing why Baseball America pegged him as the D-Backs No.1 prospect of 2002.

I think Cintron is the real deal. So if you picked him, pat yourself on the back and hope that he continues to tear it up.

If you can start both players I would do so. I have Uribe playing SS this week since he is playing at Coors field this week. I have moved Cintron to play 2B for the time being. I also have Todd Walker in my utility spot.

Good Luck guys with Cintron!!

Toast!! To Cintron staying hot!!

I guess my question is who would you play him over among the following: Jeter, M. Young, Catalanotto?

I would start him over Michael Young who doesn't play eveyday and Cintron does.

Good Luck with you decision.

What happens when counsell comes back? Cintron gets to ride the pine again?
I currently have relaford and eckstein at SS, both of which have been terrible this month and I don't think things will improve for relaford... is Alex a better option than relaford from here on out?
