im not sure which forum this belongs under, but here goes.

in yahoo baseball is there anyway for the comish to check a persons ip. we have a suspected cheater (owns two teams), and it looks like its the only way to prove anything

B-) The Yahoo computer keeps an eye on each team's weekly inning and I viewed each team's weekly innings by just going to the bottom of any team's web page in my league and clicking on "view current innings!" It pops up right away.....

Now...not being a regular league member, but the commissioner of our league...I cannot reallyy verify that anyone besides the commissioner can check each team out individually...good luck! B-)

^^^^

I think he means IP ADDRESS. Not IP, as in INNINGS PITCHED!

Yeah, sounds more like he meant Internet Protocol not Innings Pitched.

yeah i meant internet protocal. i dont think innings pitched will help find acheater :-b

but anyway, i know its just fantasy baseball. but it takes fun away when one team is getting stocked up like they are.

finding an ip address will verify that it is the same person and/or they are friends in the same city or something along those lines.

I wouldn't worry about the IP address if I were you. If this guy who you think has two teams is making grossly unbalanced trades to stack one team, the commissioner does have the ability to veto the trades. Ask him to excercise that power for ridiculous trades, and that situation is resolved.
