Moreover, I think this opens up a possible deal involving Jon Garland (whom I believe is a FA after this year). Given his success in 2005 & the fact he's still very young, he's likely to be too expensive.
Young's an okay hitter (I wouldn't expect him to hit over .250 -- even if he develops into an everyday player) & solid defender, but IMO both Anderson and Sweeney have greater potential in the bigs. I definitely don't mind dealing him for someone that'll help now.

I'm sure no one thought Contreras would succeed at the Cell either, but he was one of the game's best pitchers in the 2nd half.
