$260 Auction

Postby Eagle Baseball » Mon Jan 02, 2006 10:29 pm

Just wondering if anyone knows how $260 became the standard. I assume there must be some logical reason why this amount over some other $ amount.

The original Rotisserie Baseball game started by Daniel Okrent used $260 as their limit on 23 players which equaled out to about $11 a player.

$11 ????? there has to be another part to this - like maybe $10 for 23 active and 3 reserves??? Someone please give me the whole answer, I'm dying here. ;-7

It's 260 for 23 active players. You don't start out with anyone on reserve. If you own a player and he's hurt to begin the year then his salary counts against your 260 and you reserve him after the draft.
You don't have to like 'em to own 'em!!!!
