I believe, if he plays at all, he'll play for the team who's hat he wants to wear in Cooperstown. ;-D

I did feel like he would sign late with Houston and just pitch down the stretch IF they had improved their team. But as we've all seen they have done nothing but sign the same weak offensive team.

how far does he slip in drafts if he still hasn't signed anywhere come draft time? Obviously people are going to take the chance that he signs with Houston in May, or maybe somewhere else, but at what point do they take that chance?

This is also what I'd like to know. I have opportunity to trade for Clemens. The price my 2-4 round pick after we all have our fifteen keepers. Roger is cheap... but I don't want to waste it if he is not playing.

14 Team League. Head to Head.
15 Keepers. Each keeper is for 3 years only.
Compete in following 6x6 areas:
Avg H HR RBI R SB
WHIP IP ERA SO W SV

My roster is as follows:
C- V. Martinez
1B- Teixeira
2B- Figgins
SS- Peralta
3B- A Rod
OF- Crawford
OF- Vlad
OF- Bay
DH- A Ram

Other Reserves- Dye, Francoeur, Iguchi, Cano, S. Stewart, Shelton

P- Zambrano
P- Harden
P- Colon

P- Liriano
P- E. Santana
P- Patterson
P- Hoffman
P- Turnbow

Other Reserves- Hermanson, A. Benetiz

I'd love to see Hicks open the purse strings and sign Clemens. Seeing as how the Dallas Stars are running well (meaning Hicks isn't going to have to sink money in them this year), who knows what he might do.

Bring us the Rocket! ;-D

I think that his first option is still Houston and his second option would be the Rangers. He wants to be near his home in Texas and both of these teams fill that requirement. Even though the Red Sox really want him I doubt he'll be willing to pitch in Boston this year.
