Patrolling CF for the Phillies, I see him batting .290 with 25 HR, 75 RBI, 85 Runs and 15-20 SB.

What's the rest of the Cafe's opinions? I just got him for $5, which I think could be a great steal. Am I dreaming?

It's right here at the Cafe. Auction 13. Rowand is the first player off the board.

Shandler doesn't differ too much from your prediction:

82R, 15 HR, 70 R, .278 BA, 18 SB
D-Mat, Schilling, Beckett, and Papelbon - Wow!

I see him back hovering around 20-20. If Kenny Lofton can steal 22 bases for the Phillies, than so can Rowand ;-D Along with 18-20 HR from the Citizens Bank Warfield...er, Park, and you get a good quality 3rd OF.

I just hope he doesn't have such a hot spring. Last year he tore it up, only to never materialize during the season. Must have jinxed himself. Where is he projected to bat in the Philly lineup?

I was expecting these numbers last year. Lets just say i was dissapointed. But i think he could come back this year, and $5 is a great buy.

Here's my thought on Philly's Lineup......

Rollins
Utley
Abreu
Howard
Burrell
Rowand
Bell
Lieby

As a Phils fan I like the look of that top 5 or 6. I would like to see Rowand bat #2 but he strikes out too much to be that high in the lineup. I'm pretty sure he'll be in the 6 or 7 spot in the lineup.
