I think he could have just as many RBIs as Runs. If he's hitting in the bottom of that Phillies order he's gonna have a lot of guys on base, and only Lieberthal and the Pitcher and probably Bell to knock him in. Who knows, I would take him for $5 myself, but I'm sure you already knew that.

i could see .285-.290ish with 20/20. he was really hyped last year and didnt live up to the expectations so i could see some people getting good value for him in drafts or auctions.

if you got him for $5 then you got a bargin. I'd say $15 would be fair price for him

I don't see Rowand doing any better in 2006 than he did in 2005. Yeah, Philly has a hitter's park but so do the White Sox. He's in a better lineup in Philly, but not THAT much better. And he's switching leagues and playing in the NL for the first time in his career, which wil hurt his numbers. He was an everyday guy in both instances. All things considered, I see a slight dropoff from last year, which gives you a guy who is barely even draftable IMO.

What's the rest of the Cafe's opinions? I just got him for $5, which I think could be a great steal. Am I dreaming?
