There have been numerous other posts regarding this, and this isn't happening straight up. The Phils need to include a starting pitcher, and they have about as little starting pitching as the O's do.

Trading either Myers or Floyd would just put them back in the situation that they have been in. Tejada would be great for just about any team, but if you have to trade your best young pitchers( especially when your pitching is as bad as the phill's staff used to be)it might not be worth it.

I'd love to see Tejada in a Phils uniform, even more so since it would mean no more Bell, but I don't think he''s worth Abreu/Myers or Floyd. I don't see this happening, unless the rumors of a three team deal I've heard about with Chicago where we would get Prior essentially straight up for Tejada goes down, which is supposedly why the Phils are interested. That's an interesting prospect.

Edit: heres a link

Boy, that would be nice for sure, but if he thinks he hates it in Baltimore, wait till he gets to Philly.

Abreu, Utley and Thome would really benefit from having a righty who makes a lot of contact with decent power, don't you think?

If Tejada hits in that little park Philly has you could safely bump his home runs, right?

What if he hit them out of there like he did in Houston at the All-Star game?

Thome was traded to the white sox. But if tejada is traded to the phils, his fantasy value would surely rise.

How much better is CBP than Camden Yards? That's a serious question...I really don't know. I thought Camden was a big hitter's park too.
