Drug testing policy and stats this year?

Does anybody think that the new policy might have some other effects on the game, besides turning baseball players into wholesome, all-american (Dominican/ Japanese/ Mexican/ et al...) guys?

If amphetimine use was as widespread as has been suggested, it seems likely that those players who'd been having a 'little bump' are going to suffer statistically towards the end of the year (H2H playoff time particularly...). I was thinking that this would likely affect batters MORE than SP who at least do get mandated rest between outings. In the 'market' for fantasy players in turn, this would push UP the value of SP and down the value of hitters who would be more likely to experience a pronounced fade in July/Aug/Sept, assuming that reports that 75% of players were getting jacked up have something behind them. We don't really have any way to know if that's true or not but it might be worth it to adjust ones draft card accordingly. Or not? Or will extra energy drinks fill the bill? hmmmm.... :-?
