How do you rank catchers for 2006??

Why should they be considered top catching options, if they do not get say 450 at bats?

Or why should they be considered locks for 450 at bats?

Every depth chart I've seen has Willingham starting at either C or OF. He's so much a better hitter than anyone else the Fish have at those positions and they have so little to lose, that I can't see him not getting 450+ ABs.

Doumit--barring injury, which I see his elbow flared up in winter ball--starts the season at worst as the lefty part of a platoon. By the end of the season he was playing 2/3rds of the games and outhitting Cota by a large margin. As long as he doesn't flounder in April/May, he'll get the full-time job by June

And, to be honest, I'd rather grad two good hitters getting 300 at bats, then 1 crappy catcher getting 500.
