It seems like he has been going fairly late in drafts, does anyone else think he has good value for this upcoming season? Also, some sites have him scheduled to pitch twice next week, once on 4/4 and again on 4/8 with only two games imbetween. Are the Sox going with a 3 man rotation for the first week or two??

He will probably get two starts, but the second won't be on 4/8. They are probably going with Garcia, Buerhrle, Contreras, and Vazquez

They are going late. In fact in my 16 team $$$ league, I ended up with all their SP's except for Garcia. I didn't intend to do it, but they did last a long time. They're good value. The pitch for a team that values great defense.

I expect every single pitcher on that staff except maybe Vazquez to be worse than last year, so I don't really think they are going late. Just hope the ones you draft get a lot of wins to make up for it.

yeah, i noticed they were falling a bit in my draft last night. i snagged vaz in rd 19 of my 8 teamer when the likes of micheal barret and rocco baldelli were coming off the board. Im not a huge garcia fan. but i def expect better numbers from vaz.

If you have Garcia, plan on starting him on the road and potentially benching him at home. He struggles at home, but he was very solid on the road last year. I did this strategy last year with him and he helped me win my league.

Buehrle, OTOH, was much better at home.
