Dontrelle

Postby pkarr5000 » Sun Jul 13, 2003 9:50 am

Should I start Dontrelle at Montreal today? It seems like a no brainer but he was crushed at Montreal a while ago. Also, what about Kyle Lohse. I don't want to start him cause he's really sucking right now. And if the Angels can get runs off of Johan, then Kyle's in for some trouble....

Thanks in advance!!!!

I'm a little nervous about Dontrell. Montreal pored it on last night, and the fish did nothing. Anyone benching him today?

I'm starting him. He will have a bad outing, but I am not going to
miss the good trying to avoid the bad.

I hope no one was actually stupid enough to sit Dontrelle today. If you were, then you deserve not to get the stats.

I hope you didn't sit him, cause he's doing ok so far. The current score is 8-2. He's only struck out 4 though. But it's only been 4.1 innings, so why am I complaining?! :-D

is it 5 or 6 innings for a win?

Willis only pitched 5 innings. Does he qualify for the win?

Yep, he sure does qualify.

Its 5 innings for a win, 6 innings giving up 3 or less runs for a quality start.

Wow he is now 9-1, and would easily be 11-1 if florida's bats gave him better support his previous 2 outings. Percentage wise, isn't 9-1 the best record in baseball right now? Willis is da man! ;-D
