Drop Lohse?

Postby Leiter Fan » Sun Jul 13, 2003 7:54 pm

I'm about at the end of my rope with this guy. Jeroime Robertson, Tim Redding and Tom Gordon are all available on waivers in my league (12 team, 5x5, H2H). Are any of these guys worth dumping Lohse for, who hasn't pitched a good game in like a month? (Also, would any of these guys be worth dumping Seo for, who hasn't been much better)

This is the rest of my roster:
C: LoDuca (Piazza on the DL)
1B: Gibbons
2B: Vidro
SS: Renteria
3B: Glaus, Aramis Ramirez
OF: Pierre, Byrnes, Burnitz, Brian Giles, Manny Ramirez

SP: Zito, Willis, Lohse, Seo, Clement, Webb, Jerome Williams
RP: Guardado, Kim, Looper

Don't drop him. Luckily, I haven't started him in a while. But you should keep him. At one point he was one of the best in the game. He's just going through a tough stretch like his team. I'm gonna hang on to him and see how he does after the break with more rest.

Tough call on Lohse. His early season success may earn him some patience.

I'd cut Seo before Lohse. I'm not sure Robertson's going to keep it up for long, but Seo's getting hit hard now. I'd make that move for sure. Hang onto Lohse another couple weeks if you can afford to, unless something better than these guys comes along.

I picked him up last week, had him burn me twice this week, and I just dumped him for Jerome Williams, who has pitched great since he was called up. I just think Lohse, and the Twins, are lost.

I'd drop Seo in a heartbeat. He's done.

Harden should be up very soon. He's probably a better gamble.
