If Zito has another bad start he is definitely someone to target.

I think santana right now is the ultimate buy low situation. im sure you could get him at a highway robbery rate right now. go after it!

No one is dishing their number one starter and known best in the league pitcher after a bad start. People will still want first round calibre players and if they don't get first-rounders they'll keep Santana.

It's really sad that my team consist of so many slow starters:

Bay
Tex
Utley
A-Ram
Chris Young
Zito (Not so much after the other start)

I thought he had a descent first week considering his #'s over the last two seasons.

In an inexperienced league I'd say Peavy may be a little cheaper to come by than usual.

Actually you need to post that in the "sell high" thread. He completely dominated the Mariners in his last outing. Going 6 innings will only giving up 1 hit, 0 walks and 6 K's! 8-o

You want to talk slow starters?

I consider myself to be a pretty decently educated baseball fan, but this is my first time doing the fantasy thing, (both H2H). I don't know if I drafted that well, as I didn't really get it going into things, but last week? man...these guys are ASLEEP!

I think these guys would all be easier targets right now

My main squad includeds the likes of:
ARam
Wilkerson
Huff
Jenkins
Tracy
Holliday
Cantu
Garcia
Smoltz
Rivera and Nathan for RPs - neither got a single Save chance

It seems harder to keep my head up when I know the stats only count for this week...
