not that any of these guys aren't fat, but the BMI is a joke. Jordan in his heyday was oiverweight according to that, as was kurt warner. It doesn't take into account density or build.

Wickman is a fat ass though.

Perhaps more so for everyday players, but pitchers, for the most part, aren't ripped with bulging muscles (nor do they need to be). I think the BMI is probably a fair indicator of their obesity in most cases...

BMI doesn't take into account bones though, or frame. Does it?
The odds of the AL MVP coming from the American League are looking pretty good.

A few years ago, I had a personal trainer. The guy was rock solid and about 7% body fat. He was also "obese" according to BMI (5' 9", 190 lbs).

Anyway, the BMI is a joke. Most professional athletes will be obese, especially if "size" is important. Body fat is a much better indicator.

ya bmi is trash...it doesnt take into account muscle weight...

i wouldnt say Shaq is obese
