What player in your opinion is currently the most overpaid MLB player? My vote goes to Beltre.

Not another Beltre thread!!!

Actually, while his offense has been brutal, he remains an excellent defender.

My first impulse vote goes to Ramon Ortiz. I don't know what he's making, but anything over $100 weekly is excessive.

Looking at the numbers, it's clearly Jeff Bagwell this year. If you discount injuries, then its Chan Ho Park IMO.

yeah, that's sick. he contributes nothing...nor should he even be given the opportunity.

another one is Ramon Ortiz...if he's making more than $.01...that's too much

Chan Ho is a good one too but at least he's logging innings as has had some success already...it won't last but still...

(like most of these clowns) Loaiza's getting too much $ too

Wait, is Hampton even playing anymore? I can't remember the last time I saw him play, and I watch the games on TBS fairly often. Getting $14.5 million for doing nothing has to be the most overpaid player. At least the other players show up.
