What's going with these guys? Loretta can't buy a hit and Kent is even worse...Are they washed----up? Or just a streak at bad luck?
I like to think Kent has one good year left and Loretta needs to attack the green monster. I have only watched both of them play 2 times this year. Can anyone provide any insite please? Why are they playing so bad?

Loretta cannot buy a hit, but he does not strike out too much.

LORETTA HE HAS ONLY STRUCK OUT 8 TIMES in 111 ABs. !+)

I noticed that he tailed off right after Crisp got injured.

:dunno:

But I just picked up Brandon Phillips until Loretta heats up...hopefully he will do that when the wx heats up in Boston.

i've said this quite a bit but here goes. loretta's career numbers indicate that his best hitting months come during the summer. june, july, and aug are always where he always puts up his best numbers. so far i have no reason to believe he will not do the same this year.

I hope so. I have never studied Loretta's numbers, but I read about what he did before his injury. ;-D

I got him kind of late...and I already dropped Mark Ellis kinda early.
