Guardado OUT, Mariners go to closer by comitee...

Guardado is out "for now" and it appears a commitee of mostly Putz and Soriano. I would think Putz will get the most opps, just cuz that has been what we all agreed on the last few weeks.

too bad i have soriano!

I am hearing committee, but Putz should be first in line-he does have some experience. I would grab Putz quickly!

Soriano has a ridiculous arm, but Putz has shown his more so for now it will be him.
Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

I can't bring myself to add a guy named Putz.

I wouldn't be surprised if Eddie still gets an occasional call if the game ends with a lefty or two in the opposing lineup.

If this move had been forestalled until after the break, I'd say Soriano would be the prime beneficiary. For now, I'm betting Putz gets the bulk of the chances.
