He already has 7. Is this just a fast start or does he have the capacity to steal 25-30. A 30-30 season would be great, although is seems to me like 20-25 is a better prediction. What do you guys think?

I think it's mostly a fast start, although it's not entirely unreasonable that he might be able to swipe 25-30. I would think that 15-22 should be the end number......

i think 20-25 is a more reasonable estimate. while i also think him stealing 25+ or even 30+ is within the realm of possibility.

he stole 17 last year and this offseason he had specifically stated one of the things he wanted to do this year was steal more bases. so look for at least 20. a true 5 tool guy. think bobby abreu at third base, with less speed but more consistent power.

Well at least 4 of those were against San Deigo (You know who their catcher is right?). 20-25 seems reasonable none-the-less.

Good point. Hadn't noted the Piazza factor yet.

3 were with piazza behind the dish. even if you subtract those 3 steals he is on pace for ~25.

If Wright's groin is a lingering problem I have to think it will impact his SB.
