are there any really good pitchers that might come up from the minor league soon like Verlander, Josh Johnson, and Liriano? I'm sure this question has been asked alot.

But when Carpenter comes back he'll go back down to the minors. Do you think that he'll come up permantly some time?

Chad Billingsley is the guy you're looking for.

Is josh johnson really that good? I picked him up because I had a bench spot, but I didn't know if he was as highly touted as verlander or liriano or hamels was.

I'm not a stathead, but just looking at his minor league stats, Johnson could be an illusion. He's really young and the league's never seen him before. Unless I'm missing some key information, there's nothing to indicate that he can keep this up.

Scott Olsen is the guy in Florida who owns my mancrush. If he just threw the damn changeup more often...

i'll go with billingsly and reyes. billingsly has owned hitters at every level he has played at, though i tend to think he walks too many hitters. but he is still only 21. reyes should have a big league job right now, but the cards seem satisfied starting expensive, league average pitchers. though with reyes, you always have to wonder when his arm will explode.
