I got him 2nd round in my 8-team league (13th pick overall). Probably my best pick (even better than Vladdy 1st round).

he's 24

there's no reason to assume that his SB pace will slow down in the coming years

It's already slowed down some from the years when he stole 60. He had 46 last year and has said he is trying to be more smart about running and not going all the time now. Also another reason is with him batting 2nd, there are more times when Lugo will be in front of him and not letting him steal 2nd.

wasn't that one comment he made during spring training?

so you think he's going to steal less than 46 a season in the coming years??

The comment was made last year when his pace slowed down. Anyways I see him being around 40-50, but probably not going to run enough to reach 60 annually anymore.

His steal drop is due mainly to not leading off so much and being a little more conservative.

If he goes to the Angels, look out... Scioscia is probably the most aggressive coach in the majors when it comes to letting guys steal, even the not so fast guys.

I read in the Denver Post the other day that the Rockies are talking to the Rays about Crawford. Probably a real long shot, but that would be awesome from a fantasy prospective (and as a Rockies' fan too!).

I hate to admit it but that might be awesome for Crawford as a player and for us as fantasy owners. I could just imagine some things he could do.

With their ball humudifiers, Coors ain't the wiffle ball park it was.... stat wise, the Angels might be best because of how Sciosia likes to steal and he'll have Vlad with him in the lineup. THe Coors don't have a Vlad.
