Rookie eligibility question...

Postby djacks » Tue Jun 20, 2006 11:43 am

Could someone please tell me how playing time effects whether a player is considered a rookie or not. I'm specifically interested in how Jerad Weaver will be viewed for next year. I'm assuming if he remained in the minors for the rest of this year he would be considered a rookie next year...obviously that's probably not gonna happen...so how many innings/games played/etc are needed before he would no longer be considered a rookie for next year?

Thanks... ;-D
