Give up on Teixeira?

tex looks good lately.

and since lately now entails nearly a full month rather then 2 days, i think thats significant.

and i mean look good as in actually looks good from watching him, not just good stats. hes got a great command of the strikezone right now and is hitting the ball well. Just missed a few more HRs too. earlier in the year he wasnt just missing anything, he just grounded out and shallow fly balls all the time.

If you take his last month stats (89 ABs) and multiply them by the number of At Bats he got lats year (640), then he would end with these numbers (99 R, 43 HR, 128 RBI)

Obviously he cant make up for those bad months early in the season but he will be crushing the ball the rest of the season

tex is hitting good now, 20consecutive games, and now with carlos lee likely hitting behind him, he might actually get some good pitches to knock out

haha wow I just saw this post and can't believe someone was ready to dump him. Teixeira at his worst still puts him in top 100 in the league.

This guy is going off - 9 HRs in his last 20 games, counting today.

Everyone who dumped him or traded him for peanuts must be feeling pretty stupid right about now.

The Tex owner in my big money league was fed up with him. I took Tex and Bay off his hands for Helton and Liriano. Im liking it so far.
Basically I'm complicated.
I have a hard time taking the easy way
I wouldn't call it schizophrenia
But Ill be at least two people today

If that's OK

And I can go on, and on, and on...

But who cares?

Interesting trade... I definantly like your end of the deal though. No way Liriano keeps up the pace that he has set.

depends on when you made the trade. If you made it a long time ago then you probably win out on the deal because morneau over the course of the whole season will most likely finish with more hrs. But if you made it recently then its a bad deal because theres a good chance tex outperforms morneau for the rest of the season...

Atkins for Franceour is almost a push, atkins has a higher average but francoeur shows more power...
